PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC SUPPORT
The show must go on
Dancers are artists first and foremost, but we should also think of them as athletes.
That’s why dancers deserve the same treatment – medical and therapeutic support during highly active periods – as professional athletes expect.
However, awareness of this need is not yet widespread among skilled and professional dancers. I have focused on providing physiotherapeutic support to international dancers for many years, working across all dance disciplines such as ballet, hip hop, and break dancing,
musical performers, stage artists, acrobats, and other artistic professionals. I hold regular office hours for these artists in the Bonner Zentrum für Ambulante Rehabilitation (Bonn Center for Outpatient Rehabilitation), where I focus exclusively on artists and dancers with acute injuries, chronic stress-related damage, and other health problems.
I have a broad network of contacts for any further necessary examinations / treatments, to which I can refer patients as necessary.
In addition, because of my unique passion for working with dancers I am part of TAMED e.V. – a multi-disciplinary network focused on caring for the health of dance professionals.
